Advice needed regarding retiring my rooster

Yes, that's exactly what I'm aiming for. Also, it just occurred to me that I can retire Boss and if things don't work out I can always bring him back. But, as many of you say, I'm sure the hens will be fine.

I did wonder about the option to bring him back. If he is going to a friend of yours, maybe that will make the decision easier, knowing it doesn't have to be permanent.

Yes, the ability to bring him back helps a lot with this decision. I will retire him, and see how Mo does as the grand poobah.
