I know I can set eggs in a incubator and they do not hatch all at once. Hopefully you will get another chick.

From eggs I took from first broody hen 1 hatched. Last night to the chick out set it behind hen. Was not long and the chick was under the hen.

Glad to hear your safety partition is working.

Maybe put something around the nest to stop them from falling or stack things like feed bags or anything else around the nest.
