Advice needed

Thank you all for your advice. I just did a candle check baby is alive I don’t see any internal pipping yet

If you see confirmation the chick is alive at any point during this, just put it back in the incubator. If you got all the way to opening the air cell, you can drape a damp (not soaking wet) paper towel partially over the hole, not completely covering, to keep moisture a little higher in the egg.
I just placed back in incubator the way I found it. Baby is alive so hopefully it will hatch before I have to go. I would really hate to lose the last baby I’m gonna have of this hen. She is my best girl I did these two batches to have a bunch of her children and only successfully have hatched one. Idk what I’m doing wrong. 10 years ago I usually would hatch out almost all my babies.

If she's an older hen, it might be partially her age giving you less successful hatches. Egg quality can go down as a hen ages, and quality of the egg affects survival of the chick.

If it's the same incubator, or one several years old, then your incubator is failing is the most likely reason.
No this is not same incubator but I am unsure the age of it, I borrowed it from my neighbor since I was only planning on hatching a few eggs for personal.
