Advice needed.

Have been looking into Emus lately, and my question would be....if you kept BOTH males and had just ONE female...wouldn't she get overbred?

Most people consider a Trio of Emu as 1 female and 2 males. The female to lay the eggs, the males to sit them. Emus do not breed like chickens, the female has to allow the male. And if she don't want him... well even if she does... their's heck to pay... hehe If she don't want him, he better hope he can out run her....

I keep a trio of 2 males to one female and it seems to work out ok.

yep 100% goat free free at last free at last.
they were escape artist destroyed chicken coops rabbit cages and then spoiled 150 lbs of feed. Before escaping the yard and animal controls words were chasing the neighbors. I would have loved to see a 20 lb goat chasing my 250 lb lady neighbour. no love lost between us as they love to pitch their beer bottles and misc refuse into my yard .

Your neighbors sound like real gems.

That is why I have fainting goats. They are easy keepers because anything strenuous causes them to faint and they don't do it again. Like donkey riding.
