Advice on a backed up shepherd collie mix

looking for advice on my dog. She’s 11 yr old shepherd collie mix. And allergic to... everything! As far as skin goes. Last night she woke us twice to go out which is unlike her in the middle of the night. When she went out she was walking and squatting like she had to poop but couldn’t. This morning she only ate half her breakfast and then wanted nothing to do with dinner. Seems to be acting ok. Any advice. Think she’s backed up

mineral oil can help if she is simply constipated. so can adding pumpkin to her food, to keep her regular. a vet checkup, just to make sure she doesn't have a blockage may be in order. Once we hit a certain age, it seems that nothing works quite like it should anymore

Your right ... the older I get the less things work like they should. Lol. We wanted to try something now till we can get her to the vet ( wends unless things get really bad) we will try that in the meantime. thanx. WE have had her for 7 years now but only had skin issues and tons of them but never digestive.
