Advice on Firearms

I grew up in AL but now live in CA.
In AL, if you wanted to commit suicide, by all means walk into my house un-announced.

If a criminal breaks into my house here in San Diego, I think I'm required by law to make him a double tall, no fat, soy late... (no foam)Grovel on my hands and knees, present him with all my money, jewels, and a blueberry muffin and ever so politely, beg his forgiveness for being so bold by asking, if it's not too much trouble, for him to leave. Of course with an invitation to my wife's birthday party and Christmas dinner!

If It wasn't so hot all the time, I'd live in Texas. Everybody has a gun there, I think.

I seriously need to get my pistol permit. DH has a couple in the house and if anything should happen to him I don't want them to just take the guns away. They are nice heirlooms for my boys when they're older.

I've been around guns all my life and while the scare me I was always taught how to use one, and to respect it. When you fail to do so that's when accidents happen.

Right now if someone tresspasses I'm limited to a baseball batt, the dogs (HAHAHA yeah right), or hiding!

I prefer the smith&wesson insurance myself

I've been around firearms my whole life(my father ran a gunsmithing business) and living in NJ our gun are the 3rd strict in the country. This is a state that will punish law biding citizens more then criminals
