Advice On Integrating A Roo?

I keep them in a pen. I posted pics earlier. If he seems willing to protect them I may let them free range more. (Maybe)

In general buff Orpington roosters don't go up on stuff much. Because of their weight I would hesitate to clip their wings as they could injure their legs jumping down off stuff without the full use of his wings.

. Thanks, I'm not familiar with this breed yet. He is HUGE!

Don't be surprised if your egg production drops after you integrate him. Chickens don't like change. I have never had hens/pullets that were happier with a cockerel than without. I hope he turns out to be a gentleman for their sakes.
Me too! I just want to be able to let them free range a bit more. Plus he needed a home.
