sound like it will take allot of studying to get this right but I am willing I am thinking 2 150sqft runs for pasture. Free range 1/2 the day. and a middle sacrifice run I will post pics or the drawing soon if it works.

As long as you have the land available, and the money for fencing, sure. Just remember you're basically building a sufficient-size run 3 times over

Have fun,

I've heard of people putting mesh down on the ground so the chickens can scratch up the roots?? I have never tried it but I have read that it could work.

I have decided to build three huge PVC or hog panel movable runs that and rotate in place and also act as tractors they are each 100sqft and the holding area is around 40 sqft so I have enough space with one tractor open and the others resting. I don't know enough about fencing and I was afraid I would wast time on building a fence that would not work.

Oh but I can't move them in the morning because the hens are still laying and I have to go to school so they will be used as non movable coops most of the time. Then they will free range when I get home they will be used as movable coops when my mom feels like moving it or its the weekend, holiday, or summer. It should be a cool design I will post pictures I think I am making a supply run to lowe's or home depot either today or tommarow and I am picking up the coop tommarow also. I will post pictures when I get everything set up.
