Advice on this disaster of of shed

I’m about 40 miles from the coast in Mississippi and, while I’m not sure if I have the coop from hell:p, I did use hurricane clips and built strongly for those winds! My coop/run is mostly hardware cloth with metal roof and some plywood and shade cloth. If there’s a strong cold front I tack up some plastic for a wind block. Mine also free range all day.
Well I wouldnt say coop from hell, better Project from Hell!
After getting some of the roof off today!
So many rotten boards!
Ahhh!

That looks like some nice metal roofing to top your plywood with! Whatever you do, put something down on the ground to keep the dang snakes out.. and if you have coyotes as bad as I do, completely enclose the thing. I am using old windows, and a greenhouse vent fan on my old shed. Covering all openings with 1/4 inch mesh.. a bit extreme maybe but I get tired of dragging 5 foot rat snakes out of my current coop. Last spring before I decided to upgrade to the old shed we are working on now, I surrounded the current coop with 1/2 mesh and topped that with river rock. stopped the snakes from going under. Cant wait to see the finished product.
Oh god! That is my one and truly only fear (snakes).
I don't walk anywhere without the snake boots.

Ok just an update:
I decided to start new. The shed is better for storing lawn mowers than housing chickens.
I decided to build a pole barn style for the coop.
It’s 20x30, and today we are going to pour the cement for the posts!
My husband, father and a friend all have helped me so much!

So here we are as of yesterday!
We will be finishing up the hardware cloth around the outside today. We have ordered the materials for the 2 sides that we are going to close up, and The other 2 sides will be completely open (hardware cloth of course).
Not that bad for someone who has absolutely no expierence building things!!
