Hi there,
frow.gif

This is our first time using our incubator to hatch some bantam eggs and all seems to have gone well so far.....this morning, day 16, we noticed the eggs were moving and shaking quite a bit-earlier than we expected really....We were planning on stopping turning and going to lockdown on day 18 but now we're thinking we may have to do it now??
Any advice or help would be appreciated! thanks

Bantams eggs, being smaller, sometimes hatch way sooner than standard size hens' eggs. I had a bantam X hen who's eggs used to hatch after 18 days. I think you should up your humidity and go into lockdown now. Good luck with your hatch!

What's happening? Any more hatched?

....frizzle gone a bit quiet so will just wait and see........will post pics soon.....bit unsure if the sumatra is actually a sumatra though-its pink skinned and very pale feathering?
