we have put an extra internal hygrometer in and it has been running cold for 5 days. Have set it to the right temp. Will this effect the hatch?

Yes, the hygrometer measure humidity and our has temp as well. The incubators temp said 35.5 but the temp inside was actually cooler. Didnt think to double check the thermostat may be out. Do i carry on with this batch or will they have been damaged?

35.5c for chickens sounds low to me, I incubate at 37.5c. But if that’s what usually works for you, I’m not here to interfere.

I would definitly carry on. Your hatch may be delayed by a day or so but should be ok.

I agree. Raise the temp, they should be fine. I’ve done the same thing once but still got a 6/10 hatch.
