Advice please

Hi, I rescued five ducklings five weeks ago after their mother was killed by a car. Two died within the first 24 hours but three have survived and are thriving. Up until a few days ago they were all happy together, then the bigger one started to attack the smaller ones. I mean full on nasty, Grabbing their wings and pecking them. The smaller ones were so scared that I have had to separate them, which makes me feel awful for the big one on his own. But it is awful for the little ones to be bullied. He even pecked one so much that she was bleeding. They can still see each other but the minute I put him back with them he attacks them again. My question is, will this pass? If not, what do I do? I was going to take them all to where I work where we have other ducks, but not sure if he will attack them too. Advice would be appreciated, thanks.

From what I have seen with my ducks ( I have had a lot) the big one should get use to them over time. It might take some time. I only have one that had to be kept separated for good. That one was eventually gotten rid off.

Ah, they were brought up together, he hasn’t been introduced later. I have looked after ducks for years, and seen the males chase each other out of the way, but ever seen this level of bullying. I hope it is just a phase. I would hate to have to take him away from his siblings.
