Does anyone grow any kind of food or treats for their chickens? If so, what kind?

I have grow boxes and I was hoping that growing the girls some treats would keep them away from the crops during foraging time. I would appreciate any advice on this or information. Thank you, David.

Oh, they like all kinds of things! Just about any cold weather vegetable will be a treat for chickens. In general, stay away from herbs for chickens, though; too much of some herbs can make them sick. Mine love my peas!

Mine eat gass, fresh picked alfalfa, zuchini, fresh corn, strawberries, pumkin, cracked corn, suet cakes, scrambled eggs, peas, weeds, APPLES 5hey fight over, cabbage, lettuce and they dont like carrots.
