advice to SIL on getting rid of chickens

I got an email from my SIL saying he knows of someone who has 300+ year-old layers to get rid of. I don't need more chickens but am wondering what advice to give him about getting them to new homes?

Ad on Craigslist with a re-homing fee that's just high enough so that people won't eat them for dinner...

I swear us chicken people are the WORST hoarders on the planet. Gotta have one of these, and then another to breed, and a bator to have chicks, and then OOOOO look a new breed!!!!!

I totally understand suddenly having 300 chickens.....
