Hi,
My ducklings finally hatched after 28 days of waiting. I found out that the humidity wasn't high enough so I opend the eggs with tweezers. One struggled free and after a while got out. The other, well, he didn't even want to come out. Every now and again he would wriggle around a bit but then stop. It ended up that the membrane was too dry. We got him out and he looked lifeless. I held him in my hands and he moved a bit. Now the morning is here, he sits on his bed then I put him on the floor and sit about 1ft away from him. I can see that he is trying to walk but he cant! He has very weak legs. He can't stand up, walk anything. Is there anything I can do to make his legs and feet stronger?
Thanks!!

Maybe give him time and see? Often, the hatching is like a weeding-out of chicks that aren't strong enough to make it, anyway. I hope he gets stronger.
