Advise Please, Chicken in shock?!

Hope she makes a full recovery, the poor dear. We have way too many dogs here but fortunately they're pretty lazy and the girls are protected.

Are you certain your dog didn't close his jaws around her head say? I know you've written you couldn't find any puncture marks but even light pressure can damage the head.

Possibly internal injuries..She shouldn't still be that bad after 3 days. Infection? Something isn't right.

We gave her a warm bath earlier today and did notice a couple of light scratches. But, her eyes do keep opening and the reason for the warm bath was she is acting egg bound...

Lathergic, walking funny and looks like she is trying to push something out when she's stood still.

Going to try another warm bath in the next couple of hours to see how she is after that.

Don't bath the chicken at all. Keep her dry..

The majority of advice online for an egg bound chicken is a warm bath with epsom salt. Is this incorrect?

Her eyes do keep opening but are possibly a little gunky. I've bean cleansing them with tea water every couple of hours

No, thats only because as she's started to slowly come round she is stood very still and her vent is pulsing like she's trying to push something out. It literally only began happening early this afternoon, obviously she hasn't laid in 3 days either... does that make sense and is it possible that she 'could' be egg bound?

That or internally injured from the dog.
