I'm generally able to round the hens up fairly quickly with a 10 ft bamboo pole, and two of those work pretty good for the geese as long as I don't rush them.

Lately I've been preoccupied with other things, but next goal is to take inventory of things I'd like travel with, then I can start thinking about how to deploy.

Well people, life happened. Between end of summer rush to complete projects, work changes, and then the loss my little buddie of 14 years just haven't had the time or desire to think about this. But it has been in the back of my mind, as wars continue.

Incidentally it wasn't that long after I started this thread I saw a flatbed trailer with a chain link cage over it's entirety for sale. Haven't seen one like that before. I assume it was custom secured to the bed. Pretty nice so I didn't stop as the trailer alone would have for sure been few k or more, and the cage/pen at least a few hundred more.

Besides, I can't really see the purpose of it, too nice to keep birds in, and two open to really keep them sheltered. I'd have to put panneling around it, and a roof on it so really not worth it to me.

So anyone planning to see Homestead this December?
