    Good evening BYC friends,
I REALLY need your help. It's concerning my month old chick Gracie I posted about last night. She refuses to have anything to do with the other chicks I even put her alone with my littlest Boy Paislee (which is a sweetie/ flirt) he still try to "mate" with her she freaked out!! Now she won't get off of me. Everytime I leave she peeps and cries constantly and paces back and forth on the front of the Bangor hutch. I'm just worried she will always do this! I have tried the separating thing and it hasn't worked nor has just putting her in there.

Any help is MUCH appreciated! I'm starting to get worried. There is no way she can be a house chicken.

    Please help!! [IMG]

Give her time and she will adjust if she is with birds close to her age. Don't put a 1 month old chick with adult birds.

You want to wait to put her with the others when they are of similar size. 2 month old chicks are normally about twice the size of a one month old chick.

How old is Paislee? I've never seen a 2 month old roo try to mate. A good roo, though not always, seems to know when they are old enough to mate, or at least getting close to being ready to mate
