Afraid to eat eggs now.....

After hatching my little boogers, I'm afraid to eat eggs now...... not store bought eggs but the ones my hen laid. I keep wanting to try out the eggs to see what it taste like, but I keep picturing the little runts inside those eggs and afraid to give it a go. Are you guys the same? How do I get over this fear and go for it?

If the fertile egg hasn’t been sat on then the embryo will not start to develope.

Collect a fresh egg tomorrow and crack it in the pan and make an egg sandwich.

Someone this year put some Walmart eggs in the incubator, and one of them hatched....So you'd probably be doing yourself a favor to get over the squeamishness......

And now that it is so cold out, if your chicken isn't actively broody and setting there is pretty much ZERO chance of it developing no matter how long it sits in the nest. Seriously, just go for it

Sorry, I've never felt like that, so I'm not sure what to advise. Why in particular don't you want to? Are you afraid they'll be developed?

What?! Why not? I’m not sure what to tell you, if it hasn’t been sat in / incubated for over 24 hours, I’d eat it. Good luck!
