Afraid to free range!

Did you try it? How'd it go? Mine were outside about 7 hours until I left and they did really well. They mostly hung out up by the house were there are bushes and perennials. They enjoyed dirt baths, shade, weeds, bugs and who knows what!

My 8 week old chicks stay outside all day, when the sun starts going down they come back to the door and whine to be let in ( because currently I'm keeping them in a ferret cage in the house). They never stray too far though.

It's good to know that they don't wander off
