(First, I love this place! As a new chicken owner, there is so much to learn... and I have already learned A LOT from BYC!)
My name is Robin. I'm live in NC, not too far from Raleigh. I'm 41 years young, have a wonderful DH of almost 17 years (my 2nd) and 4 children (3 boys, ages 20, 15, 10, & 1 girl, age 6.) I homeschool my youngest two.
I'm a lover of anything with fur, feathers or fins! We have 4 dogs, 4 gerbils and, now, 5 chickens. I wish I could have cats too, but severe allergies make that impossible.
We live in a large subdivision on an acre, but I so desperately wish I could have at least 5 acres ALL BY MYSELF! Neighbors can be a real pain in the rear end at times... they hamper my desire to have a real mini-farm.
