After a VERY slow summer, fall and winter...

...this is today's bounty.

A full dozen eggs (they have been building up with 8 - 9 eggs for the last week.

We have

1 rooster
13 hens and
6 laying pullets

All Australorps

I love my chickens!

Bonus pics - sunsets over Central Texas and one VERY cute "chicken watcher". She goes out with me every evening to sit with the chickens as they go to roost.
