i am the proud owner of....MUTTS. They are just now 20 weeks old. I had given up and thought it'd be spring before they'd lay eggs, but I was WRONG. Yay!!!

i am the proud owner of....MUTTS. They are just now 20 weeks old. I had given up and thought it'd be spring before they'd lay eggs, but I was WRONG. Yay!!!

Three of my sister's are Rhode Island Red mixes, and one is a black Easter Egger(so they are mutts to ), hoping for an egg at 20 weeks, but the RIRs are quite slow to mature.
I remember the feeling of checking on my silkies one morning to find an egg in the coop! It is such an exciting moment!
