Here is the backside.. staples to hold the hardware cloth in place with this wood on top of that also stapled in. When I redo the run ill be doing screws with fender washers and staples.View attachment 1170688
I ain't letting my guard down that easily.. trap is set for another critter to jump right in and be trapped. You'd be surprised how strong that possum was.. after watching him climb this trap sideways and everything else I have no doubts he could have done that. The run has the wire on the outside not inside.. this was the coop that was a premanufactured deal that will soon be just for raising chicks somewhere safe in the future.. as the new coop will be with the run sealed/attached and not a seperate unit right now the security probably is not real great with the current design.What you caught may not be what got in...don't let your guard down.
