After Christmas I would like to do a block swap. Update first post

I went to the PO today and they said without a Delivery Confirmation theres nothing they can do. There's nothing they do anyway is there?

If I don't get it by Saturday I'm going to send everyone else's out and then if I get Kathys I will mail them to you and if you want to send one to her that's up to you.

Is that how I should do it?

Someone help me please.

I am so upset about this whole mess. I promise, I will not join another swap. I am embarrassed that I waited til the last minute to finish up anyway. Now, they aren't even there! <<<hanging my head in shame>>> sorry ....

Kathy don't be silly why would you be embarassed we have all waited to the last minute on these things some of us really late (been there done that have the T shirt). And if someone hasn't waited to the last minute to do their blocks you can bet at some point in other things in their lives they have fallen behind.

We have all lost stuff thru that PO and kicked ourselves for not using the deliver confermation # too.

I sure hope this doesn't keep you out of the swaps because they are fun and you really get to know these ladies and gents in a special way. They are really giving and have the biggest hearts. I have been so blessed to know them all thru these swaps. And I for one can not wait to get back into them. Just waiting on the strengh to push that petal with my new knee.

I had a block get lost on the way to me and weeks later it showed up, the envelope was ripped by the PO's machine, the block was fine but they had to tape it and put a piece of paper on it explaining that it was damaged in the machine, in case something was missing. Block was fine but I never understood why it took weeks for them to tape and slap a genaric note with a box checked on it. But the PO and the rules it runs it's office by has always boggled my mind (doesn't take much I know).

Sure hope you give it another try. Praying that they come to your place soon Gin.

I was ready to give up on swaps then too because I knew how much work I had put in, and the work of others. Just seeing that people were going to give up one of their sets to help her and you out, kept me going.

Don't be embarrased. I had to bail out in the middle of a swap last year. Christmas blocks. Just was not able to keep up with all that was going on.

It will be fine hun. Just hold on a little be longer. Don't give up on the swaps. They are worth it.

This is just crazy! It should have been there by now. It appears to have disappeared.

I have an idea. I will send a box of fabric out. You can give everyone some fabric from me. I will send it with a confirmation number. I just don't have time to make more.... but fabric I have! I have tons of it, and would LOVE to send you all some. Will you let me do that?

Please don't give up on the swaps. . Don't give up on us because of the PO. They make me so mad.

It's really fun and I love getting everyone else's blocks And you really want to get these blocks. I'm telling you they are nice. I'm one of those last minute people, I'm still working on paper piecing a block for the Feb. swap, sorry.

BTW, Kathy they must be really nice blocks. I bet someone in the PO opened them to see what it was. You know to make sure there wasn’t a bomb in it and decide they were to nice to pass alone.
