Block is fine by me so I will watch for that beige, I know just the beige I want and when I find the blue I will start.


So if you will please sign me up we will call it a go.


I am thinking with that pattern you would need 2 1/4 yards of each color. Correct me if I am wrong. I will be picking up 3 yards of each color to be sure.


Seeing as this is a go you might want to say it is offical in the first post.

Thanks Gin but I'll pass, it's too hard and I really dont have much use for the blues anyway. You wont have any trouble filling 20 spots!!

Ok SE, maybe next time, now wait what am I saying? This will be my one and only time.
I went to an auction last night and there was a quilt with the dressen plate you make, not sure if I spelled that right, but I bid on it up to $25.00 someone paid $55.00 for it and I know it was old. I'll have to put a pic of the one I got. It's old and needs some work but for $12.50 I couldn't pass it up. It's a log cabin.

Hey SE...you could do a "sister" swap to this. Pick a pattern you are comfortable with and do the red/beige

If someone does a spring swap or a non-specific block, I'll do that one but right now I'm trying to get my Christmas stuff done. Making aprons, potholders and lap quilts, not to mention the bedsized quilts for the kids. Dropped my daughters off at Loving Stitched friday to get it top quilted. Have alot of beaded things to do too for my co-workers but I never seem to have enough hours in my day to get caught up. The fair was fun yesterday but that meant I only have a one day weekend so housework suffers this weekend!! I did vacuum and run my carpet steamer but no laundry or other cleaning, oh well, lol!
