After Christmas I would like to do a block swap. Update first post

Gin the bottle I have says Freeze it. If I hadn't have had that, I think my back would have stayed down longer than it did. It helps the pain for a little while so that you can walk around and that walking can help the back, NOT CLIMBING and STOOPING now, just walking.

I am helping out someone cut the fabric and showing her how to do it so she can make them and I was surprised at how fast they come together. I should have read all the directions and then started. I was dumb. It says to cut 3 7/8” squares and then cut them on the diagonal , well that’s dumb. Why not just put the two colors right sides together and mark on the diagonal and sew your ¼ inch seem on both sides. That will give you two done. So that's how I'm going to do mine.

CluckyChikn did it take all of 3 yards. Or did you have some left over?

I have some other blocks I'm working on so I won't start mine until I'm done with them and the other person I'm helping.

This is so tempting, I've never done a swap before... I want to say yes, but a star pattern, beautiful but it might be more complicated than I am up to. Let me think on it till after Christmas I have so many Etsy orders and local orders right now to work on...

Kathyinmo, do you sleep? LOL

I think somewhere we talked about the pattern and in black and white, the black will be the blue and the white beige. I'm off to work but I wanted to show you the one I did.

CluckyChikn if you did yours different let us know so we can do it your way.

That's how I did it for the smaller squares but I only had to do half of it. I'll try your tonight for the middle. NanaKat, showed a different way for the middle also. I don't remember which post but it's here somewere.

Boy these can come together in about an hour or less.
