After dewormer

So glad i saw this! I've been looking cross-eyed at droppings and don't want to make my organic birds immune to meds they don't really need. Changing to Hemp bedding this week in an attempt to keep the HenHouse drier over winter. I do scoop daily and will keep that up. Outdoor run bio-security is the big challenge for us, so I'm learning and stocking up RX as i can find the stuff available. Popular hobby now, so it is hard to find Chicks and supplies on demand!

We also clean the chicken poop every day. I have seen watery ones but not anything looking suspicious with worms. But then I saw people posting that it is too late when you see worms in the poop; and others suggest to de-worm three time a year. My flock is a year and half old, free ranged in my backyard. Some of them are going through molting now. I have NOT put them on any medication (including deworming). How do people in my similar case decide whether to deworm?

What are the signs you are looking for? I assume you are also concerned about deworming as I am.
