after how much incubation should you candle eggs

i got my broody hen who is now sitting on 9 eggs. but tonight i am going to pick up 6 silkie eggs. but she is only a bantam so i dont think she can sit on 15 eggs!

and i want to wittle them down. but she has only sat on the eggs for like 2 days and all i can see is an air bubble and a yolk. no veins. so that means it is too early. because some of them are of course fertile. so when should i candle them???

You should wait until day 10 however, I have candled on day 5 and can see the spider like vein..

i think i might do it on day 6. i need those silkie eggs under her as soon as possible.
