1) Some sort of brown hybrid. Looks like it has some Bantam in it. She's laying for sure.
2)Another brown hybrid I think. Interesting comb. Could start laying in the next 3-4 weeks.
3) Looks like a Maran to me. And she looks a few weeks away from laying.
4) Not sure. Very pretty though. She looks a few weeks away from laying.
Very nice young pullets!

. The bottom 2 have not. Is it ok for them to free range when they haven't laid yet or should I keep them in the run so they will be close to the coop to learn where to lay?
That pullet isn't an RIR. She may well be a production red.
I think it would be fine to let them free range. They live in the coop so they should know where to go to lay. And they look a little way away from laying anyway.
I hope that helps. I'm not an expert though

lol. I call them the FBG (Fluffy Butt Gang)
Where did you get them? If they're hatchery-bred, I'd guess you have a red ranger, a rainbow, a cuckoo Marans, and a production red (that was probably marked RIR).

The first one looks almost EXACTLY like a couple of my New Hampshire pullets except for not having yellow legs and her beak not being horn colored. I would say that she is probably a New Hampshire red sex link.
