Age and roo or gal?

I have a 8 wk old pullet (daughter named "Celeste" lol) that's a dead ringer for your Beth (a couple of weeks ago-now bigger & more feathers) & she's an Ideal 236 - a white leghorn cross that'll prolly always be a bit flighty & skittish, but will give you loads of eggs! They have them at feed stores a lot of times...We also have a full grown 236, so that's how come I know.

PS- "Little Women" is one of my all-time favorites too!!!

That's just the "breed" name, but yeah, I think it is! It looks JUST LIKE my 2 did @ that age, so I wouldn't fret a bit. They aren't the prettiest thing @ that stage, but soon she'll get a cute lil "flopover" comb...My adult hen, "Keeble" (also named by same daughter lol) has a nice red comb like flirty bangs hanging over one eye. I call her my "sexy chicken" LMBO -I really need to get my pics off my camera one of these days! I was just posting about some 236's the other day, "Hannah"...lol

amy is a roo, that comb is rather "fat" for a pullet. I would like to see closer pics of the combs....I am thinking there may be a couple roos....
