(I think I've known for like 2 weeks now, but wasn't sure since I had no other RIRs to compare him to and online pics made him look more like a female than a male a couple weeks ago, but now it's confirmed). My mom's in denial about it, and I really don't want to get rid of him, but will most likely have to, as well as with Ruby(who still doesn't act like a rooster unlike Pepper) if it's a male. Maybe it's an excuse to get a few more chicks, perhaps ones that you can actually tell the sex of when they're young
If you want 100% guaranteed females, you can get the red sex links from the feed store. They will be light yellow colored with dark buff colored stripes and head. Some places call them Red Stars.
