Hey all,I recently brought home 3 New birds to add to my flock.I got 2 leghorns and 1 Gl Wyandotte.I was told when I picked them up that they're around 20 weeks old and close to laying, however I disagree. They all seem light and not fully matured, the leghorns do not have much of a comb and it's not red yet.My estimates are between 12-16 weeks and probably a month away from laying. What do you guys think?? I can't access the photos, but my brown leghorn pullets have nice sized combs at 16 weeks.

Thanks for the info SueT. Im going to try to upload some more pictures. That tells me these chickens are probably around 10-12 weeks then.

These are some more pictures of the new Leghorn additions.

Here's a pic of one of my br. leghorn pullets today, she's 17 weeks. Their combs are just about ready to flop over, hopefully they will begin laying soon!

Thats a good looking chicken! Yes, hopefully youll be getting some eggs soon. So, fro this picture I can tell mine are probably no older than 12 weeks or so.
