age of chickens

when i got my chickens i got told therewere a week old this will be going on 4 weeks old my chickens have all there tail fathers and floping all around the tote and plus they tryin to get a pecking order i think they are acting like bro/sis walk up to each other and start pecking one another i think it is time for them to go outside in the coop because they do have lil room
