I've looked around to find an article or sticky with this info and so far haven't found one.
I would like a resource to tell me the average age to expect laying from various breeds?
My daughter bought peeps and has raised them and the deal was that she keep half and sell half as ready-to-lay pullets, but I can't find the info on the various breeds. I'd like to be able to tell buyers that the pullets are X weeks old and should be expected to start laying withing Y more weeks.
Last year our red sex links started pretty early, the ameracaunas were a few weeks behind them. I really can't remember how old the banties were when they started.
The particular breeds I'm wondering about this year are Silver laced Wyandottes, barred rocks, and buff orphingtons. Then she also has some special TSC cross that they call a tetra link.
