Age of Maturity in a roo?

I have an 11 week old BR roo. I was wondering if I turn him out with my laying hens and if they let him mate, could I have fertile eggs? Or do I have a few weeks until that is possible yet? He's not full grown but he is big and his comb and waddles are nicely developed. Oh, and he crows every time I step foot in the barn.

No, not yet. When they start crowing for real, they are sexually mature. Six months?

Big full-throated crows? He's doing that or at least to me he sounds like every other rooster I have heard crowing. It is a little on the quiet side yet but it is a full crow. No squeaking anymore, thank heavens. He started crowing at 7 weeks. Hrm.. Maybe I'll run out to the barn real quick and get a picture (if I can find my adapter for my mini card)
