Age of Roo for Mating

I need to know how old a Roo is before he can mate and does it depend on the breed of the Roo like a hen and the time she begins to lay. Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure, We had a Lt Brama who was getting his grove on at about 16-18 weeks. We also have a Banty D'Uccle who has been observed trying that is only 12-14 weeks.
But just because there trying doesn't insure they are fertile. we havent checked the fertility from these roosters.

Anyone else made any observations on the subject?
