Age of Wattle Development

At what age do chickens begin to develop their wattles? I have 12 pullets that are 7-8 weeks old and I’ve noticed that one of them seems to be showing signs of their wattle developing. Is this normal at this age? None of the others are showing any signs of it.

It is largely dependent on the breed and the individual bird. I had an Orpington hen that never developed a large red comb and wattles, but she still laid well.
Most Mediterranean breeds develop them quite early.
