Hens or roos? I can tell you what they were supposed to be. pretty sure the wyandotte is a roo, his saddle feathers are pretty pointed. not sure about the sussex. thanks!

What age are they?

They might both be roosters. I have a pullet 15 weeks old with a comb and wattles the same size as the first image of yours (Sussex) . I know for a fact mine is a pullet because it's a red sex-link.

Pretty sure they are 17-18 weeks. The sussex is slightly larger than my other sussex pullet with larger wattles and comb, but they are both smaller than my other pullets that are the same age. Is this breed traditionally smaller than a barred rock or BO?

the speckled sussex is a cockerel and the slw is also a cockerel you can see their saddles
