I have about 38 Hatched chicks different ages٫ they keep purposely jumping out of their box to go to the ground٫ im not worried about it because my house is really warm and they seem to do fine in the pet room٫ i was wondering what age i can pull them from the heat lamp since no matter how high i put it from them they want to escape it 🤦‍♀️ if i was to guess my house is around 75F Constantly
Picture below of my oldest chick ( 3 weeks old going to be 1 month on the 24th)

Use a thermometer on the floor of the brooder. One a week, back of the heat lamp a few inches to lower the temp 5 degrees F . Do this until the temp at the floor of the brooder is the same s the room temp and then get rid of the heat lamp.

Now, if the chick is avoiding the heat lamp it is hot so back the lamp off a bit more. If it it's always under the heat lamp it is cold so move the lamp a bit closer.

Since you have different aged chicks, focus on keeping the youngest ones warm and give enough space in your brooder to let the older ones get out of the heat when the want to. You may need something larger than a typical box for 38 chicks unless it is a refridgerator box. I would suggest upgrading to a kiddie pool surrounded with a wall of cardboard. The heat lamp could be placed over one area and the rest can be for the chicks to roam.

I have 2 brooders and I was thinking to put the big ones in the second one, both of the brooders are about
The one they are in
Length= 6 feet
Width= 7inch
Height= 3 feet

The transfer brooder
Length=6feet
Width=3 feet
Height= 3 feet
