Aggressive 20 week old rooster

Does this behavior come from not being socialized? I ask because, I had a bad rooster who used to attack my daughter. We didn't spend a lot of time with that flock and he was very dedicated to protecting his girls. The young boys we have now may just be too young to start this behavior, but they seem better, we've been very 'close' to them since they hatched. I did see slight 'aggression' in one (of the two) when the girls first started laying a couple of weeks ago, but not since. They are very used to us.

A big part is genetics. If a rooster is agressive, odds are his sons and grandfather's are as well. Of course sometimes a bad one pops up from good males and a good one pops up from bad males (we have had both personally)

For those that try to ”tame” an aggressive roo, it seems like the process often needs to involve every member that he is in contact with. Can you realistically try that with the kids(probably not the dogs)?
unfortunately I vote sending him to freezer camp where he can learn to be a well behaved table chicken.

Others have also made a good point, do you intend to be hatching your own eggs to make more chickens? If not, you do not even need a rooster. There are good roosters and it would be better that you got a replacement if you "needed" a rooster. I have 3 here that are fine. Maybe borderline retarded? Maybe just plain stupid but they are nice birds and not a hazard to anyone. It really isn't hard to put one down. It's very fast and over with quickly. You could actually prepare and eat him. I cheat and skin mine and do away with plucking feathers. You also could take deceased rooster and bury him or send him to the landfill or mulch pile.
