Hello all,
I'm now the happy owner of 5 peachicks, 2 I raised form eggs, 3 purchased form poultry swap.
The two I raised are 3 and 2 weeks old, and by their behavior apparently male. They tend to peck rather viciously
at the other chicks, the second rather alarmingly pecks at the eyes of the others on a regular basis.
Is there some way to minimize the hostility these fellows are displaying? I did not expect them to be so violent so young.
Right now I have those two separated from each other and the others by a partition in the brooder. They can see each other,
and seem to be happy enough, but when all put together the violence starts.
The two I raised from egg appear to be typical Indian Blue.
The others are a Pied IB, a White, and a Spalding with white on his outer wing feathers.
thanks for any advice
