My duck is being very aggressive - running after us and our dog, head to the ground, loud and very defensive.

Two things to note:
• she had ducklings almost two weeks ago and they needed to be separated. Has been apart from them for 5 days.
• she is molting - there are feathers everywhere.

She is usually so timid and beautifully natured but at the moment she’s a completely different duck. Will she ever go back?

She might be stressed out. Maybe she will but I'm not sure

Hormones take awhile to wear off. I've had broodies be mad at everyone for weeks after breaking or hatching. Plus add in the molt, she's not feeling 100 yet.
