I have 2 pelkin male ducks that were born around Easter. I also have 2 other male ducks born 2 weeks later. They are fighting with my chickens- will not let them by water.

Now they are not going to lay eggs and so I am thinking about butchering them out this weekend. Will they continue to be aggressive with the chickens? They are grabbing them by the neck and holding on and pulling out handfuls of feathers.

your drakes will end up trying to mate with your chickens, they need to be separated asap. either total separation, rehoming or butchering those are about your only options. But chickens and ducks are not meant to breed.

If they're grabbing the chickens' necks they'll be trying to mate with them. That's a bummer.
I have a drake in with chickens, but he has a couple of ducks he chases around and leaves my hens alone.

same here, I have never had one of my drakes go after the chickens but they have plenty of ducks to keep them happy too.

My drake just walks by my hens and never tried to fight with them. But he has two female ducks with him so that may be why. Best bet is to seperate if you want them to remain pet ducks

My neighbor said she has some females I could buy... Maybe I will try that- my girls are totally mad and sad that we are even suggesting to butcher them.

If you've got the space it's totally worth keeping ducks.
They're very entertaining to have around. And if you hand-feed them treats like peas you can have them following you around quacking. It's like a parade everywhere I walk.
