Aggressive ducks

So I recently got call ducklings ! Probably about a month or so.. and with them I also got 3 d’uccles and a mixed chick. Well I separated due to the ducks makings everything a mess and my chicks feet feathers were yucky!! Well now terms have kind of changed and they all had to be put together for a couple of hours the other day when we were moving things around in the room. The chickens are slightly smaller to the ducks but around the same age. About 1 month old give or take. And my mixed chicken is literally the size of a 1$ coin!! He’s tiny!! And my ducks seemed to like constantly running over my chicks and head butting and pulling and nipping the whole time!! They live right next to each other when separated. I figured it was just because of being thrown together after a long time apart but was just curious if this will break or if I’ll have to fully introduce them when bigger. I never had issues with my 6 month old birds I have currently. They all got along instantly. Thank you!

Is there a lot of room in the bin/whatever you are keeping them in together? If not that could be the problem. I would introduce when older. Hope everything goes well!

I believe they have enough room but to my call it seems like everything is never enough for them! Lol i was wondering if I’d have to do that. That’s okay though! Thank you!

No problem! How old are they now??? They may be old enough they just need to be introduced slowly!!

There all about a month old now, give or take a week to a couple of Days! The ducks I believe we’re all a week when I picked them up and the chicks were about the same besides the mixed who hatched 3 days prior to me picking up !

Yes they are old enough you just need to introduce slowly. I would maybe section of one side of the pen(are they in a pen?) so that they are not in contact with each other. Then once they seem fine let them be around each other. watch for any aggression, bites, chasing, etc. If there is any of that separate. If there is none of that then do that several times a day until you are sure they are ok being together. If they are not in a pen or run then tell me and we can get something different to get them to know each other.
