I have 3 ducks, all around 2 - 3 months old. I am unsure of the breed (possibly muscovy). I hatched them. The youngest ( name is bug ) started trying to bite me a few weeks ago and hasn't stopped since but is not as aggressive towards the other two and as of a few days ago Umi the second youngest has been ripping out the oldest chest feathers all day and night randomly. The eldest Pip (they are all a week apart in age) is not the slightest bit aggressive. I feel so guilty and sad about pip getting picked on, I am unsure if the aggression could be a health issue, diet, sex ect.. and ideas are more then welcome. Thankyou

Attacking you should not be tolerated at all, If he comes at you again give him a good nudge with a stick or broom. IMO, most bullying problems stem from boredom, another cause of bullying is too many males. What is your setup like? How much space do they have during the day?

Could you post a picture of the ducks and your setup?

I have tried nudging Bug away but (possibly a he) comes back more aggressive. During the day they have most of the yard to roam around and at night I put them away. They also have a full size human bath to swim in.

You have a Magpie, Black Swedish, and a Pied Muscovy. How do they sound? Raspy? Or do the Magpie and Swedish Quack?

Thanks! None of them quack they are a little bit raspy. Though the youngest makes quite high pitched noises.
