Aggressive male Muscovy

Hi my name is Christy. I was sent here from a different thread about my aggressive Muscovy drake. It's come to the point he has left bruises on me. He is an indoor outdoor pet, I will put him and the duck hens outdoors in a pin to run but he will go after them and me with bites.

He has gone so far as to chomp down on my chest leaving a nasty bruise which after that he was pinned by me, this isn't the first time I have had to pin him but this was the time that was a big no no, as my fiance James (he uses this account as well) and I get our nieces who come over often last thing I want or need is for him to go after our youngest niece who is partially scared of any and all birds.

What else do I need to do to teach this unruly male that biting is bad? He does enjoy sleeping on my lap when he is not being a biting drake.

Do you have any females for him? The only thing that worked with mine was putting some kind of barrier between me and him and not acknowledging him when he was in his excited state. A broom worked best, I didn't have to touch him with it at all, just put it in between us. Not sure why it was so effective but as long as that broom was between us he wouldn't attack me.
He eventually got too fat to chase me and all it took was running a few steps away and he would give up lol he chased me less and less and was pretty chill after a while...

Yes Everest has three females all his sisters but females. I usually have a back scratcher I use as a herding stick which he avoids like the plague.

I would get a couple more of those back scratchers. Always have one with you and give one to anyone else that he might target. Eventually he will turn his focus to the ladies when he realizes they are an easier target...

That's one of the other issues, he does it to them as well. His older sister will yelp and run to me when he nips her to hard. And those are an easy buy, I can get them for a dollar

It will take some time but he will learn how to be more gentle with them. They will be alright in the meantime, as long as he isn't physically injuring them, they can handle it

I hope so, lol. Im a first time duck raiser. They are worlds different than my chickens, turkeys and guineas

So he is still at it, i have tried everything under the sun and it doesnt matter if i am wearing my leather jacket or tshirt he continues to bite.

I feed and water daily both in and out of the run and in the house box which is where his worst side shows.

Just now he bit my forearm and blew out the vein. What else can i do to this drake to prove I am the head Drake besides my fiance?
