Aggressive Pekin Drake?

Mine has 3 and he still wanted me.. go figure. but I think if you are consistent you'll get through to him, my guy will seek me out when I go out to visit or do chores and if he's in one of his moods and starts biting I just push him away and walk off. When I first had this problem there were a few who said put him down don't even mess with an aggressive drake, there was no way I would even think that way, we'd had him in our home as our baby from hatch, But others encouraged me into training him like this and it's worked out, even if I do have to remind him at times that's okay too.

Lol so I guess they'll never truly be happy till they have every mate around eh? haha. I couldn't put this poor guy down due to natural behaviour, I just wanted to understand it so I could adjust in such a way that we both benefit! The training does seem to help, and I will continue along with it to see where it'll go from here.

Seems that way, LOL please keep us updated on how the training is going. I have 3 other drakes besides this one that wanted me to be in his harem, and none of them have ever been like Opie, they will all eat out of my hand but have never been aggressive towards me at all. Did you say you raised him from a tiny duckling? All my other drakes had mamas to raise them I think that makes the difference.
