Aggressive Roo What Should I Do???

I have an ornery rooster, who will take any opportunity to challenge me. I have tried holding him and staring him down. I'm not the least bit afraid of him, because I know I'm bigger, but it can be annoying. So, here's what I figured out. I carry a squirt bottle in the pen with me when I first go in. If he looks at me sideways, I squirt him square in the face. It's harmless. He can't figure it out. He knows it doesn't hurt, but he doesn't like it. I think he thinks I spit. Once he has been squirted, he goes off and leaves me alone. Then I hang the bottle on the fence so it's ready for the next time. Maybe once a week I will randomly "spit" at him, just to remind him I do. :lau

I think there is a side benefit to this on these hot summer days.
I think I can do this, also THIS IS THE BEST SUMMERTIME IDEA EVER!!!!!!!!

I'm a bit concerned about your bachelor pad--are you planning to have him live completely alone? That's not really good for him. (If he's next to the hens, with wire fencing in between so he can see/hear/interact, then my concern goes away.)
My sister plans to put tarps up so he can't see the girls; this is only for a short bit of time before we are getting him friends.

Yes, we carry boards into the run, actually she held him twice today. Now, Tino has been fine with me lately, @Jersey giant lover, you can be a bit jumpy, and high energy around him and his girls. Nothing wrong with that, its just energy. I think he picks up on that and gets overly excited. I love the rooster, but our mom wants to send him to "freezer camp" XD. Also, he has soooooo much Testosterone in his body his comb is purple at the end, he is only 15 weeks today, so hopefully he will calm down soon.

This video helped me out so much!! My boy is very good now. Never pecks or rushes me anymore.
That was an excellent video!!! However, I tried all those things with Mad Hatter, and I can say, although it would work momentarily, I never have managed any long term peace with him, except with the squirt bottle. Also, I'm no longer worn out from chasing him. Just squirt and go about my business. So easy. Some roosters are just ornery.
