Aggressive Roo What Should I Do???

My sister says: "If he sees the hens in the bachelor pad it doesn't work because not seeing his girls to set of aggression."
I think for that to work, they have to be a long way away. I have kept an extra cockerel in an adjacent coop and run, where he could see the girls, and he could see my top rooster. It worked fine. He spent his time at the fence line, and wasn't thrilled about the arrangement, but those were sure peaceful days for everyone else.

That doesn't sound right to me, but I have no personal experience separating a rooster, so she might be right. :idunnoYou might just have to try it and see.

I just don't think it's good for any chicken to be completely isolated from other chickens. So I would probably try it one way for a few days, and then the other way. (You mentioned tarps to block vision, so I'm guessing they're pretty easy to put up and take down.)
